Promoting a healthy lifestyle is more then an issue, it is an ongoing problem that both children and adults have to face. According to a study from the American Heart Association, 250,000 deaths occur a year in the US because of a lack of physical activity. Mass media, technology and the prevalence of fast food have been influential in decreasing children’s ability to commit to a healthy lifestyle. Many people also abstain from physical activity because they feel that it has to be strenuous to be beneficial, while in reality working at a low intensity is just as feasible.
Through Knowledge, Guidance and Involvement creating a healthy lifestyle is viable. If you participate in regular exercise half an hour each day, three times a week you can significantly improve your well being. Nutrition; however, is just as important and by following a healthy nutritional plan you not only will have more energy throughout the day, but you will feel better about yourself.
