My name is Alecia Monico and I am a graduate of Central Ct State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Mass Media Communication. I have worked as a reporter/producer for the “Local Sports Break,” on ESPN2 and have gained experience with production and reporting at News channel 8. As a communication coordinator for Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom I was also responsible for the weekly communication vehicles for thousands of Cast Members.
I have always been a physically active person. I was a competitive gymnast for ten years and an all-academic cheerleader for four years. I currently hold my high school diving record.
I have been involved with the Miss America Organization for three years and previously held the title of Miss Bristol and Miss Apple Valley.
Healthy Habits Happy Kids is more then a program it is passion that I am committed to promote. My most significant accomplishment is the ability not only to develop a thorough understanding of health and fitness, but also to commit to promoting this issue.
